Many of you reading this may have met her, some of you may have seen her name spread across Modere newsletters or notifications, we’re talking about the much loved mentor and Social Marketer, Carmel Nimmerrichter. Carmel has partnered with Modere for the last 24 years after pursuing a personal need for safer products to help with improving her health and wellbeing. Since using the products Carmel’s friends noticed a dramatic improvement in her overall attitude and new found zest for life, and the rest as they say is history.

We took five to catch up with Carmel for a quick Q and A.

Q: What would you say has been the biggest change for the better within Modere?

A: “I would have to say the advent of the customer focused business model. This was a game changer for me, developing Customer Pods has not been without its challenges, but once I got the swing of it all and how easy and effective it could be – the rest was easy. Most of my success has come from building my Customer Pods, I decided to lead from the product side first so I could then determine who was genuinely serious about entering the business side of things through the number of their referrals, and it just grew organically from there. It’s about finding your own recipe for success”.

Q: What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced over the years and how have you overcome it?

A: “Learning Social Media! As I’m no spring chicken, I must say some of the platforms were quite foreign to me at first, so I simply reached out to my fantastic network for help, in particular Terri McClure and Sam Long, they were crucial to my Social Media learning curve. You see that’s the beauty of the Modere community, we all help each other and we all grow together.”

Q: What do you most like about being a Modere Social Marketer?

A: “I like that you can approach Customers and open accounts at no cost and I can help them choose their products and they go ahead and order. It’s so easy with no strings attached for them.

I tend to look at the business a little differently to others, whereas I only focus on Customers and plant the seed with them. So depending on how many people they refer to Modere products helps me identify their potential as a Social Marketer. It’s quite a simple strategy, really”.

Q: Where do you see the Modere business model in 20 years?

A: “The opportunity in Modere is absolutely enormous! We’re already worldwide, which means it is so much easier to build an international business. I feel we’re on the cusp of something huge and will become the world leaders in Direct Selling for many years to come. It all comes down to our innovative business model and our amazing high quality products. Without these two key elements, we’d be just another ordinary company that would inevitably fade away”.
