The interesting thing about human behaviour is the more you tell someone not to do something the more they want to. After coming in and out of lockdowns and being forced to social distance for the past two years, we have all realised how much we crave human connection. Simple pleasures like going out to dinner, venturing off to beautiful faraway destinations, seeing far away family, even as basic as giving or receiving a hug, are just some of the things that we haven’t been able to do. But guess what???? It’s all back – and I promise you, I won’t be taking any of those things for granted.
When was the last time you were in a room together with your team? When was the last time you felt truly connected and present? How long since you had your moment in the Modere Spotlight – to walk the stage, to connect with your team, maybe even to meet your team for the very first time! SRC is your chance to feel that connection again, build those relationships and celebrate in style.
As our Modere community grows, networking is more important than ever. It gives you a chance to interact with like-minded people, a place to share your ideas, an opportunity to get inspired, and an opportunity to set your goals on where to next. It gives you an avenue for new opportunities, building self-confidence, and developing long-lasting relationships.
I know the feeling of not knowing what is around the corner can be intimidating… but if there was ever a time to reconnect and reset – it’s now.
The Gold Coast Convention Centre will be filled with your people. Your team. Your Modere. So when you walk through those doors and feel that SRC energy takeover, I want you to do a few things:
- I want you to share your unheard stories because we know you’ve got a great one
- If you feel scared to do that Facebook LIVE, do it anyway – grab some teammates or the corporate team and do it together
- For our Elites in the room: Share your knowledge with a new face, embrace a new team member, show someone the “ropes” of SRC, inspire those around you.
- Be generous with your time, be generous with your knowledge, and be present in every conversation.
Be a product of the Modere product. SRC is all for you! YOU are the lifeblood of this business. Recognition is what makes you tick. People are what makes you feel alive and connected. Accelerate your dreams, your hopes, your vision. It’s only too easy to get caught up in the rush of life and feel like you’ve missed the moment… Let SRC be your opportunity to stop, be present and celebrate YOU… you truly deserve this!
